IIS and Offline Folders: Folders get greyed out with "X"? 2008 R2, 2003 Server
Two IIS Servers IIS01 and IIS02 (2008 R2) are configured as NLB hosts in both of two clusters NLB01 and NLB02. I put the Shared Configuration in a folder on a network share (failover cluster on 2003 Server) and made it available as Offline Folder on both IIS servers. I put the default website on the same share in a different folder and also made it available as Offline Folders on both IIS. The problem: IIS servers are going temporarily offline. This means that all except the Offline Folders get greyed out with "X" over the folders. Only Offline Folders are available for access in Windows Explorer. When clicking on the other folders I get the following error message: \\ipadress\share is not accessible. You might not have permissions to use this network resource ... This file is currently not available for use on this computer. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Oskar
